After receiving her Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree at Georgia Baptist College of Nursing in 1999, Tammy began her nursing career at Southern Regional Medical Center in the Emergency Room. She continued her education at Georgia State University and received her Master’s Degree in 2004. Tammy is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. After working at several Atlanta area hospitals in emergency rooms and intensive care units, she settled down into family practice medicine where she has practiced for the last seven years.
